Conor Michael McAleny (born 12 August 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays for Everton, as a striker.

McAleny joined Everton as an 11-year old, becoming a full-time member of the club's academy in his late teens.[3] He made his first-team début as a substitute away to Arsenal on 10 December 2011 having one one venomous volley that whistled past the post.[4] He made his first home appearance in the next league game, coming on for Louis Saha in a 1–1 draw against Norwich City.[5] On 23 March 2012 he joined League One side Scunthorpe United on loan for the remainder of the season.[6] He made his debut the following day, coming on as a second half substitute in a 0–0 home draw with Notts County.[7]

Personal lifeEdit

McAleny represented Knowsley in the 2005 Merseyside Youth Games, he participated in the 80-metre sprint, shot put and triple jump.[8] He attended St alberts Comprehensive School in Huyton.
